- When using an air popper have a mist spray bottle filled with salted water (1 c. water and 2 1/2 Tb. salt. ) As corn pops to the top of the popper spray it lightly.
- Be careful not to soak the popped kernals.
- The hot air will evaporate the water.
- Shake the bottle frequently during use.
- This method is very acceptable, but by further heating the popcorn, it will be very crispy.
- Here are two methods: 1.
- Oven Method: Put popped corn on a cookie sheet in a hot oven for a few minutes.
- Watch for burning.
- Microwave Method: Pop corn directly into a medium sized paper grocery bag.
- After popping is complete, spray corn several times (15 times for 1/2 cup unpopped corn. ) Shake bag while spraying.
- Close bag.
- Put in microwave on high 1 minute.
