Cheesy Pork Chops N Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

Jar ( 8 ounces ) pasteurized processes cheese spread

Thin pork chops, 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick
Seasoned Salt

( 2. 8 ounces ) Durkee French Fried Onions

( 10 ounces ) frozen brocolli spears, thawed and drained

Directions

  1. ~ Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Spoon cheese spread into 8 x 12-inch baking dish; place in oven just until cheese melts, 5 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in large skillet, heat oil.
  4. Brown pork chops on both sides; drain.
  5. Sprinkle chops with seasoned salt; set aside.
  6. Using fork, stir milk into melted cheese until well blended.
  7. Stir cottage fries and 1/2 can of French Fried Onions into cheese mixture.
  8. Divide Brocolli spears into 6 small bunches.
  9. Arrange bunches of spears over potato mixture with flowerets around edges of dish.
  10. Arrange chops over brocolli stalks.
  11. Bake, covered, at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes or until pork chopes are done.
  12. Top chops with remaining onions; bake, uncovered, 5 minutes or until onions are golden brown.
  13. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
  14. For the Microwave version: Omit oil.
  15. Reduce milk to 1/4 cup.
  16. In 8 x 12-inch microwave-safe dish, place cheese spread and milk.
  17. Cook, covered, on HIGH for 3 minutes; stir to blend.
  18. Stir in cottage fries and 1/2 can of the French Fried Onions.
  19. COok. covered. 5 minutes; stir.
  20. Top with brocolli spears as above.
  21. Arrange UNBROWNED pork chops pver brocolli stalks with meatiest parts toward edges of dish.
  22. COok, covered, on MEDIUM ( 50-60 %) 24 to 30 minutes or until pork chops are done.
  23. Turn chops over, sprinkle with seasoned salt and rotate dish halfway through cooking time.
  24. Top with remaining onions; cook, uncovered, on HIGH for 1 minute.
  25. Let stand 5 minutes.
