Legumes Recipe

Ingredients

Carrots, julienned

Snow peas, stems removed
Salt and pepper

Butter

Directions

  1. A tender, yet crisp vegetable dish.
  2. Bring 3 cups of water to boil in a saute pan.
  3. Add carrots.
  4. Wait 2 minutes and add snow peas.
  5. Boil one minute and remove.
  6. Drain.
  7. Season vegetables with salt and pepper.
  8. Add butter to saute pan and saute vegetables until hot.
  9. Serve.
  10. The secret of these vegetables is to cook them just the right amount of time so that they are tender yet crispy.
