Cream Of Mushroom Soup Recipe

Ingredients

Fresh mushrooms

Margarine/butter

Chopped onion

Pepper

Chicken flavor instant bouillon or 6 cubes

Water
¼

Flour

c
Light cream/milk
¼
ts
Ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. In large pan combine mushrooms, onion, water, nutmeg and bouillon.
  2. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
  3. Stir to break un mushrooms.
  4. In blender, blend 1/3 mixture at a time, blend until smooth.
  5. Return to saucepan.
  6. Set aside.
  7. In medium pan melt butter; stir in flour and pepper until smooth.
  8. Stir in cream - cook and stir until thickened.
  9. Add to broccoli mixture.
  10. Heat thoroughly.
  11. Do not boil.
