Black pepper (chopped)

Bell pepper (chopped)

Onion

Tomato sauce

Boiling salted water

Directions

  1. In hot bacon grease, cook 1 1/2 Cups rice til golden brown.
  2. Add seasonings, chopped pepper and onion, and tomato sauce.
  3. Pour all this into boiling water.
  4. Reduce heat, cover and cook 12-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, leave covered and let steam a few minutes.
  6. Doubles nicely
