Ketchup Recipe

Gallons Ripe Tomatoes

Onions

Stalks Celery

Green Sweet Peppers

Apple Cider Vinegar

Directions

  1. Cut top stem ends off of the tomatoes and peppers.
  2. Rinse all the vegetables.
  3. Cook tomatoes, onions, celery and peppers together until soft and mushy.
  4. Force through a food press or very fine strainer.
  5. Place the strained mixture in a soup kettle and add the remaining ingredients.
  6. Boil 10 minutes.
  7. Pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal.
  8. Makes about 6 Pints.
