Buglar Wheat With Raisins & Cinnamon Recipe

Chicken broth;

Garlic; or to taste

Grd white pepper;

Raisins;

ts
Grd cinnamon;

ts
Salt;

Directions

  1. In a nonstick 2-quart pot melt margarine; saute onion and celery until tender, stirring often.
  2. Stir in buglur wheat and contine cooking until buglar wheat is coated and turns a golden brown.
  3. Blend in broth, garlic, pepper, and tarragon.
  4. Add raisins, cinnamon, and salt, and mix well.
  5. Cover and continue cooking 15-17 minutes or until all liquid has been absorbed.
  6. Serve hot as cereal or as a grain side dish.
