Broccoli Stir-Fry Recipe

Peanut oil

Soy sauce

Cornstarch

Honey

Fresh grated ginger root or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Hot pepper sauce

Slivered almonds

Directions

  1. Wash broccoli and cut off broccoli flowerets.
  2. Slice stems 1/4 inch thick.
  3. In large skillet or wok, heat oil; stir-fry broccoli 5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  4. In small bowl, mix soy sauce and cornstarch.
  5. Add honey, ginger and hot pepper sauce.
  6. Pour over broccoli.
  7. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Stir in almonds.
