Glazed Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

Potatoes in light syrup; drained

Brown sugar; packed
¼
c
Honey

Cornstarch

Ground cinnamon

Ground nutmeg

Grated orange rind

Butter

c
Pineapple juice
¼
c
Chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Arrange sweet potatoes in a lightly greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish; set aside.
  2. Combine next 8 ingredients in saucepan.
  3. Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture boils.
  4. Boil 1 minute.
  5. Pour over sweet potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle with walnuts; cover and refrigerate 8 hours.
  7. Remove from refrigerator; let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  9. Yeild: 8 servings.
